One of CGP's main objectives is to build the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) in order to create a more effective and successful civil society sector in the Kyrgyz Republic. One way CGP accomplishes this objective is by providing mentors who offer practical technical assistance in all areas of CSO management. Experienced analysts, experts, practitioners, and trainers from the Kyrgyz Republic are part of the mentorship program which strengthens the local CSOs that receive grants from CGP. Mentors address weaknesses or gaps in necessary capabilities of grantees that impede successful implementation of a grant. The consultant/mentor's role is to support CGP sub-recipients and to provide on-the-job consulting/mentoring or, if required, to give advice and information via e-mail or phone regarding issues that impede successful implementation of grants. CGP is currently compiling a database of potential mentors to connect high quality professionals with rewarding opportunities in mentoring and/or consulting services for CGP’s grantees.

If you are interested in joining the CGP database of mentors, we encourage you to submit an Expression of Interest Letter and CV (in English or Russian) to info-cgp@ewmi-kg.org.
