From October to December 2017, 157 representatives from 105 CSOs of Naryn, Issyk-Kul, Osh, Batken and Chui Oblasts and Bishkek took part in workshops on "Effective and Responsible Advocacy". The workshop was aimed at understanding of advocacy as a tool for development, the concepts of "human rights", politics and power in the context of protection and promotion of human rights, as well as strengthening practical skills in planning advocacy campaigns by using a theory of change. The CGP also organized nine workshops on "Results-based Management" in all regions of the Kyrgyz Republic with participation of 89 members of various CSOs. During the seminar, the participants learned the principles of results-based management, concepts and tools used throughout the project to increase accountability, reporting and sharing the results. The workshop also raised awareness of participants about the foundations of gender equality, gender inequality issues and their immediate, basic and root causes.
