WHAT: Roundtable discussion on “Cooperation of the Center for Coordination of State-guaranteed Legal Aid (CCSGLA) with Non-government Organizations and Legal Clinics of Universities”.

 WHERE: conference hall of Plaza Hotel, 52 Togolok Moldo street, Bishkek.
 WHO: Akjol Kalbekov, Director of the Center for Coordination of State-guaranteed Legal Aid (CCSGLA); NGOs and legal clinics of Chui and Osh oblasts; representatives of the ministries and agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic and international organizations. 
 
During the meeting, the representatives of the Center for Coordination of State-guaranteed Legal Aid will provide information on the key regulations governing the provision of state-guaranteed free legal aid to the population, procedures and standards for providing consultations and professional legal assistance, and the organizational structure of the CCSGLA. As a conclusion of the coordination meeting, the CCSGLA will sign an agreement of cooperation with NGOs and legal clinics. The agreement aims to promote a more efficient enforcement of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On State-guaranteed Legal Aid”, as well as improving access to justice for the population, including women and people with disabilities.
