On March 4, 2019, over 30 representatives of the Ministry of Justice’s FLA Coordination Center, the Bar Association of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor and Social Development, State Migration Service, National Mediation Center, legal clinics of universities, and experts participated in the roundtable discussions on the development of legal clinics and strengthening the mechanisms of interaction between the state-guaranteed legal aid entities.
The participants also discussed internship mechanisms to involve law school students in activities of the Free Legal Aid Centers (FLACs), which provide legal consultations as part of the implementation of the Law on State-Guaranteed Legal Aid.  
At the event, the FLA Coordination Center, the Bar Association of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Association of Legal Clinics of Kyrgyzstan signed a Cooperation Agreement to define the place for law students within the State-Guaranteed Legal Aid System.
