On September 18-20, 2019, about 30 CSO representatives participated in a seminar on the methodology for alternative reporting on the implementation of the commitments of the 2018-2020 National Action Plan for building Open Government (Achyk Okmot) in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The USAID Collaborative Governance Program, in cooperation with the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek and the Secretariat of the Open Government Forum, organized the seminar in Issyk-Kul. The Open Government Partnership expert and envoy, Veronica Cretu, familiarized the participants with the history of creating the Partnership, trained the participants on the methodology for alternative reporting, and responded to their numerous questions.
Following the seminar, a group of CSOs committed to developing alternative reports on the 11 (out of 18) commitments to be presented to the heads of state bodies in November this year.
