On September 18, 24 and 26, 2019, the PA “Nur Jol Ber” held three one-day seminars for social workers and deputy directors of schools to present the developed training modules on combating human trafficking, exploitation and illegal migration. The seminar participants included representatives of nine pilot schools and one professional lyceum, that were selected in August after meetings of two experts of the PA “Nur Jol Ber” with school principals in At-Bashinsky, Narynsky and Ak-Talinsky districts of the Naryn Oblast. The participants discussed and proposed their additions and clarifications to the developed training modules.

From June 2019 to January 2020, the PA “Nur Jol Ber” implements the project “Prevention of Trafficking in Persons and Exploitation among Youth of the Naryn Region” with the support of the USAID Collaborative Governance Program implemented by the East-West Management Institute. The project is aimed to prevent and combat human trafficking by raising public awareness and legal awareness of students in secondary schools of three pilot districts of the Naryn Oblast.
