On December 4, 2015, USAID CGP Chief of Party Mark Grubb in the presence of the CGP team handed 16 kinds of printed informational materials or about 18,000 copies overall to UN Women Kyrgyzstan Country Office Informational Campaigns Consultant Meder Sadyraliev for distribution among citizens at different public events across the country aimed to raise public awareness of the civil society organizations that are working to protect women's rights and to combat violence against women and girls. USAID CGP also supports PF DIA's project "Osh Oblast’s Support for the 16 Days Campaign of Activism against Gender-Based Violence", which includes such activities and events as round table discussions, a press cafe with journalists, sports competitions, drama, TV and radio interviews and programs, overall more than 15 events in Osh Oblast. USAID CGP supports this annual campaign organized by UN Women in the Kyrgyz Republic.
