On April 21, 2016 NPM Resource Center at Osh State University hosted a guest lecture of Janneta Jakypova, Project Specialist, Master of Nonprofit Administration (Central European University) on the theme: “Nonprofit Organizations: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.” Janneta Jakypova talked about the historical background of nonprofits, main fields where CSOs are involved in, difference between nonprofit sectors in Europe and in the Kyrgyz Republic. The lecturer shared her experience as a volunteer and spoke about the opportunities that volunteering opens up for young people. Janneta’s presentation on the prospects for young professionals specialized in NPM greatly motivated students interested to continue education in the field of nonprofit management. Over 29 students, 2 professors and 1 CSO representative visited the guest lecture.
