Association "Partnership Network,” and Public Foundation "Ergene," with the support of the Collaborative Governance Program, funded by USAID, are conducting a series of seminars for procurement specialists of healthcare institutions and CSOs on how to monitor procurements made via the state electronic procurement portal. The purpose of the training is to ensure the effective use of public funds for procurement of medicines.
Daniyar Mukanbetov, director of PF “Support Economic Development and Education,” helped organize the training for CSOs working in the health sector. Mr. Mukanbetov and his public foundation took the lead in developing the methodology on monitoring the state electronic procurement portal; established a monitoring working group of members of Public Councils of nine government agencies; and tested the methodology and presented the findings and recommendations at a roundtable on April 5, 2016. That initiative was supported by the Collaborative Governance Program, funded by USAID and DFID.
