On February 24, 2017 Osh Mayor’s Office hosted a final round table with participation of 40 representatives of civil society, local government, and parents of children with special needs to discuss the results of the project titled “Improvement of Opportunities and Support for Children with Special Needs in Osh,” supported by the USAID Collaborative Governance Program. Based on the project’s findings, recommendations were given for further consideration by the government institutions in the implementation of the Kyrgyz Republic Government Decree No. 391 of June 22, 2015 On Enactment of the Provision for Identification of Children and Families in Hardship.
